Tarun Kapoor, Chef, Cookbook author, Food stylist, Writer and Chef trainer was born in New Delhi, India, where he completed his education. Homemade North Indian food was a daily ritual prepared by his mother. He was always amazed with the array of spices and food ingredients which magically turned into delicious dishes by his mother. Tarun found his love for cooking during his hotel management days at premier hotel management institute in Delhi. Tarun started his culinary cater with Taj Group of Hotels as a Kitchen management trainee and soon worked up his way to become to youngest executive chef of a 5-star deluxe hotel in the national capital of India.
His culinary career spanning around two decades is very diversified. He has worked in Airline caterings, luxury Hotel, Resorts, Palaces, Cruise ships and Restaurants internationally. His culinary knowledge, skills and restaurants are highly accomplished and have been awarded several accolades. He writes a weekly cuisine column in Gulf Times Newspaper, Qatar the largest circulated newspaper in the region.
He has conceptualized and executed many restaurants with unique concepts and is always curious to help hospitality professionals grow their business.
He likes to spend his spare time with his family and is blessed with two boys and he now resides in Las Vegas, USA.
